The SharkBite TER-1 thermal expansion relief valve prevents excessive pressure building up in a closed loop plumbing system. The TER-1 combines a full port ball valve with a pressure relief valve and can be installed in place of an expansion tank. The relief valve on the TER-1 is factory set to relief pressure at 125 psi.
